Become a tutor at Tutorax!

We thank you for your interest in the position of tutor.

Unfortunately, since our services are offered to Canadian students, it is mandatory for all of our tutors to be fully familiar with the requirements of the Canadian curriculum. This is necessary in order for us to provide each student with tutoring sessions that are tailored to their needs and, most importantly, that will help them meet the criteria required by the Ministry of Education.

Knowing the Canadian school program means that you know:

  • The subjects taught;
  • The different concepts that must be acquired for each subject and grade level;
  • The distribution of school levels
  • Special programs of study such as the IEP program, language bath, etc.

*Since 97% of the requests we receive are for elementary and high school students, it is essential that tutors know at least the requirements for these grade levels.

If you are comfortable teaching at the college or university level, we recommend that you contact the colleges and universities near your home as some of them may be recruiting new tutors for their help centers. 🙂
